This is her 4th car, the first one she wrecked. The others were clunkers that friends gave her that needed so much work it wasn't worth it.
No one was hurt, they were going slow in bumper to bumper traffic and she drove into the pick-up truck bumper and trailer hitch. No scratches on the pick-up!
Thanks for your thoughts and asking about her!

Totaled. You should be able to find another HHR with fewer miles pretty cheap. The same color interior would prove to be very handy. From the pictures it looks like you might have a site from which you can keep the wreck there for a parts car for awhile. The wheel/tires alone might be worth as much as $350 depending on the rubber, or you could switch them into a replacement HHR.

Find another used car for parts or use yours.
Here is an example $1000.00, surely some close by or you can always do a road trip/vacation.

Yes, I can store it till the wifey gets tired of seeing it. Might be a good idea to find another one and use this for parts, the tires were new in Novemeber.

I had an odd incident where my side curtain airbags deployed with no body damage. The insurance company gave about $4000. By doing my own labor and shopping I wound up with about $2000 in my pocket.

Fix or

While we all love the HHR it is still just a car.
If you can do the work yourself do it there are lots of parts out there.

If you cant dont worry

If you are thinking of paying a shop dont.

The money you spend ospaying a shop would more than pay for another.

There won't be any payout, we just had the bare insurance on this vehicle, being a 2006 with 260,000 miles, thanks!

If you’re selling it or parting it out, post it in our Classified ads , please read the rules first pertaining to email, phone numbers and include a price. I’ll understand picking prices for a part out , so post for $10.00 and up and if that includes shipping or not. This eliminates confusion and problems when you go to sell anything
