HHR Europe
Good day everyone!
This is my first post on this site. I live in Bordeaux, France and, since the news came that the HHR will be available in Europe by the end of this year, I cannot wait until it arrives in the showrooms. It will most certainly be my next car (present one is a 1999 Chevrolet/Oldsmobile Alero). I am not sure it will sell in large amounts in France because no diesel engine is available at the time. Personaly, I don't care and I am looking for the 2.4 liter engine. I expect some slight changes over the American version, mainly concerning lights with white front position lights, maybe under the amber direction bulbs (am I wrong, or, looking at the pictures, it seems there is some space reserved for this), amber back turn lights and rear fog lights (in the bumpers?). Welcome, keep us posted on when the HHR arrives.

Welcome to the site Michael.
GM just might suprise all of us and make a diesel version for Europe. Most definately keep us posted on the Europe version? |
Michael, comment ca va? from Los Angeles, where I just returned from the Long Beach Grand Prix and yet another win by Frenchman Sebastian Bourdais...Tres Bien! il est plus fort!!! Hey the HHR is the closest thing I could come to Renault Kangoo which I rented to chase the Tour de France in the Alps for a week in 2004. I loved that thing...but Mon Dieu the French do love their Gasoil, though it was much cheaper than petrol. C'est combien maintenant?

Thanks!
Thank you all for the warm welcoming messages. I will definitely keep you informed about what I can learn about the European HHR. Since the announcement the HHR was going to be sold here, there has not been much more information, but I expect this will change in the coming months.

Michael, What part of France are you from? I really enjoyed my time in Nice and Paris.
