My first upgrade was the activation of OnStar and more specifically the ability to unlock/lock and alarm my car via the iPhone! It also records all the diagnostics and will send them to the service department. I can even check my tire pressure, fuel and oil. I know it's not really an upgrade but MAJOR Geek points for the cool app!!!! Way to go GM/OnStar!!
