Hhr Pup
There are already functional small pick-ups. The last thing GM needs is another small niche offering. The panel at least filled a spot that wasn't already covered, ie. the S-10, S-15 which the "HHR Pup" would compete against.
I think my HHR Pup is just a dream of mine. Obviously, it isn't going to happen , but, I can still dream. One of my favorite vehicles was a '52 chevy pickup. So, I guess my wishes are tainted by that.
I only know of the Ford Ranger or the Mazda if I want a functional small pickup. I was hoping for something with a little style to it without being charged almost 50 grand for it. I was also hoping for more than about 20mpg.
thus, my dream for an HHR Pup. Reasonable to purchse and to operate.
I LOVE my HHR!!

Why just a dream? How many El Caminos were sold in the past? Heck, my neighbor is still driving one. There's always a market for new designs. The question is whether the auto manufacturers find it cost-effective to produce one.

I was thinking that the S-10 was discontinued last year, replaced by the Colorado.
I still think without RWD, a pickup would have a difficult getting around with a load like the truck Snoopy mentioned.

Because its different and I would most likely kill myself in a Corvette. I love my SSR even with some problems that come with it. Now I have a fairly unique vehical as there were only 30,000 or so made. The last year for the SSR was 2006, they closed the plant in May or April of that year.
