HHR Replacement/ Chevy Orlando

http://www.motorauthority.com/news/c...or-show-debut/

These pictures were released of a concept (maybe pre-production) Gamma based vehicle. This is the same platform as the new Cruze and internet chatter seems to be pointing at this as an HHR replacement for 2011 or so.

I like the exterior design and I love the interior design except for the Camaro inspired gauges.

I think I'd rather have extra storage space in the rear like the current HHR as opposed to a set of jump seats that fold into the floor to offer 7 passenger capability.

If fuel economy is better (to meet 2011 stds) and the performance is at least comparable to the 2.2L, They could have a winner.

Although there have been a few times that I would have liked more seating, I am happy with the extra storage space also.

Yawn.It looks too much like a Traverse,an Equinox, and an Uplander.I recognize Chevrolet's desire for the family 'face" on their cars but there's no individuality to it.At least our HHRs LOOK unique even if they're Cobalts underneath.

Chevy needs to remember people buy the HHR due to styling and price. If they make just another small mini van it will get lost in the crowd.

I would like to see something like the HHR Nomad show car. A little 50's flair would make for a good update but still be special.

wow, a angular mini van....very...ummm.... original?

sorry, IMO it looks like crap. And if it looks this boring in "concept" phase, since it will look nothing like this in the end, it'll be 5x more boring then this by the time they get done with it.

I don't like the short windows and the shifter integrated into the lower dashboard. That's the main reason I didn't like the Vibe's interior.

I would think so also.

Looks like a good combination of curves and angles! Don't know about the interior though, looks like a lot of the controls are out of reach, unless there are plenty of redundant controls on the steering wheel.

I figured the fact that the interior shot shows the switches on the door would have made this a "must buy" for many folks.

I like it. Must have? not yet.
