Somehow I missed this post.

I've used the Auto Train on 6 different occasions, 12 times if counting return trips separately. Great experience every time. Don't really know how coach class is, but the sleeper cars are great!

Opps !! Guess I was sleeping. Missed the origination date completely. I even posted in HIS referenced trip thread....although not to him.

Last July, my wife and I took our SS From Denver Colorado to Livermore, Ca then to Long Beach,CA, next to Scottsdale AZ and then back to Denver. Car worked wonderfully in the CA and CO mountains, and I was even able to get it up to 120 in the flat areas of Wyoming. Did not have any problems the whole trip, even in the 115 degree heat in AZ. Love it, can't wait to take another road trip.
