HHR sales for September even hotter.

10,214 units sold vs 8,602 in August. At 85,662 it is on a pace to go way over 100,000 for the calendar year. This is astonishing for a new specialty vehicle. And, it's probably the reason the dealers are getting so hard to negotiate with and why cheap money/fat rebates have disappeared.

Great, soon the HHR will be the over-hyped, over-saturated PT Cruiser. I guess I kinda liked it when my HHR was a niche vehicle and I was the only one around with one (well, at least when Mike wasn't racing up the 71 at 100mph!).

I'm one of the 10,214 units sold for September. We purchased our 2007 on September 10.

I'm probably one of the last for Sept as east coast time at least. Sat the 30th at 9PM walked out of the dealership. LOL
