Funny, lol. These can carry amazing weight. I took a load of bricks 200 miles. She just squatted like a chevy pick-up.

First saw an HHR cab in Chicago, 2009.

Always thought it would be a great cab. I'm 6'4" and fine in the back seat if the front seat is kinda forward, so a short driver is best.

Maybe someone will buy the tooling from GM and make cabs like Checker did.

Lordstown is available. It could be built there with few modifications, besides bringing Body tools in. It would make a lot of good people in OH happy...

I _had_ one. Loved it, too. Found it used at a Ford dealer. When I went there to test-drive it, the sales guy was trying to sell me on several used Mustangs... I finally said, "I am a GM engineer. I came here for this vehicle only." They didn't know it had LSD or anything. It had regular (87) gas in it too, so it wasn't running great. It was a relative steal.

The story ended with a blown motor at 140K+ miles. Long story. It went to auction as-is last year in the Detroit area after I got paid for it as a tradein.
