HID Kit now available...
I know some of you have been asking so I thought I would post some info on the kit that just became available.
Here are some specs on the kit:
The Xenon HID conversion kit is designed for vehicles utilizing a Halogen bulb inside the headlamp assembly. Unlike a standard Halogen bulb that uses a filament, the HID capsule has no filament. The HID system produces an arc of light after the inverter and igniter units convert the DC 12 Volts into AC at 20,000 Volts. When high voltage is applied, the XENON gas and metallic salts are ignited to produce an arc of light.
These kits are rated at 8000K on the color chart (light purple / light blue with bright white light on the road). These are a true plug and play kit and come complete with everything needed to install the system in your HHR. The kit offers a 1 year manufactuer's warranty on all the parts in the kit. We have been selling this kit for almost 4 years now and have had almost no problems at all (with anything aftermarket there will be some issues eventually).
For those of you who don't want to spend the money on the HID kit we have spoken in the past on the forums about standard bulb replacments. Currently there is only the basic Hyper White color bulb on the market for the HHR. PIAA who is by far the leader in the aftermarket bulbs will have the bulb for the HHR available sometime after the new year.
And finally your last choice to either A. change the color of the light on the HHR (both headlight and driving light) and or B. Be used as a protective film on your headlights and driving lamps. We use this on a lot of the higher end cars to protect their headlamps from breaking.
I can offer further info if need be. I just wanted to let everyone know that they are available now and see what kind of feedback their will be on the bulbs as far as anyone wanting them. I can answer as many questions as possible if need be. Just curious to see what demand would be like on the HID kits and the films.

There is a vendor here at ChevyHHR.net Uneek that has been selling HID kits for like a month and a half. I don't know how many he has sold. I personaly would love smoked headlights for my HHR like I had on my Mustang. Smoked tail lights and fog lights would be cool also. I would rather change the whole lens assy. than use a film.
