In the Lounge there is a Count by Picture thread. I post pictures there all the time and I do not have a gallery set up.

Yes, you do. That's what I meant; the old gallery forced you to set it up, or did it automatically. The new one does not.

Go to your profile page you will see a link labelled "My Post Pictures".
