Hottest and coldest on dash display

What is the hottest and coldest tempature you have seen on your dash display?

Post proof! No photo editing allowed, that's cheating!

This was picture taken just before Needles CA on the way home from the Grand Canyon/Williams run on July 16th 2006. We hit 119 degrees again in Amboy CA on Route 66.

Now that you have posted this, I'll be sure to keep an eye on mine when I drive. Have a camera on my cell phone and that's always with me, so I'll snap a picture next time. Now had you done this a day or two ago, I'd have a photo of 103 here in Denver...saw that yesterday afternoon around 2:00pm. Lowest I've seen was around 0 during the winter...but that was after it told me ice possible first. Well...no kidding.

Sindy…

Just curious, with the OT at 119, did you check the coolant temp at that time? I hit 219 on the coolant last Monday morning up the Grapevine. I don't know what the OT was…focused on the coolant…

I switched it back and forth between the outside temp and coolant temp display. I was focused on the outside temp! I don't recall the exact collant temps, but was watching for an abnormal temp increase. That I did not not see. My HHR was cool as well as hot!

Yesterday mine said 119, and the coolant was at 198.

My temp always seems to be about 10 degrees or more off (hotter) from the real outside temp?????

Coolant seems to stay right around 200.....

ANR HHR,

We were cruisin back with Sindy from GC, we went to Amboy with Sindy and Mr. B. I was watching the engine temp as we saw high temps on the way to GC on Friday night running about 80MPH pulling grades we saw temps in excess of 235f, we ran without the A/C several times in attempt to control the engine temp. It seemed that the average temp running on level ground with OT around 115f engine temp was around 210f. I noticed engine temp on the way back to hitting 230 - 235 range w/OT at 119f. It was a little scary seeing it get that high.

I believe like a 109 some time this week, not sure on the coldest, but I live in the Detroit area so it safe to say below zero.
