I don't go to the self-serves because I pumped it as a kid (AND NEVER SPILLED ANY, EVEN AND ESPECIALLY ON MOTORCYCLES) and the stink on my hands lasts all day so I get somebody else to do it now and I have to wash off the gas AND GET STINKY ANY WAYS.
What do I have to do? Mask off the rear quarter panel?
It's like anything else, you want it done right, do it yourself....

Some weeks I would get more in TIP'S than Grand Dad would pay me.
But then I got to work on my '57 Chevy any time there was an empty bay.

Ain't that the truth. Not long ago, we went out to lunch, the total was $10.89. Handed the girl $11.00. Then I heard her say "awe man". And she turned away looking for something. I asked what was wrong and she said "I didn't put in what you gave me I just hit cash (guessing meaning exact amount). I said, that should be ok. She said she was looking for a calcualtor...... I said you owe me 11 cents. She asked if I was sure, I said yes.....

Try giving the next dollar then after they put it in the register, give them the exact change. Ex. cost is $4.55 give a $5.00 bill, then after they enter the $5.00 in the register, give them the 55 cents... drives the "new math" kids nuts. Some of them can't figure it out.
