I gave my first jump start in my HHR
I was walking through the very large Wal-mart home office parking lot trying to find my HHR in the vast amount of cars and I heard this clicking sound. Come to find out that it was a :banana:PT LOSER:banana: with a dead battery:rof:. So that is when I gave my first jump in my HHR and it was to a dead :banana:PT LOSER:banana:
On another note, dose anyone know how to increase the range of the key fob / remote starter:confused:. When there are a lot of cars blocking your HHR you have to be very close in order to start it or honk the horn to find it. |
sounds silly but touch it to the side of your jaw bone. Someone told me that years ago and I thought they were full of it. I got another 50-100 feet of range by doing it.

I had the Chevy Upgraded system installed in Cruck. 1000 FT range. Auto start, panic, lock doors. Waiting for upgrade to open/close windows & sunroof.
So, What did the PT owner think of the HHR ? Does he/she want one? It does have a dead battery. (good enough reason to trade up to me ).. |

I think there is a keyfob designer somewhere laughing hard at folks holding their keyfob up to their chins to find their vehicles!!!

 Can you get extra distance by holding your other arm up like an antenna?

I also am a believer in the human antenna theory. A few years ago, I was listening to the Bob and Tom morning show, when they had a guest who suggested to do the key fob under the chin thing. When one of the mythbusters was on their show recently, he was asked if the human antenna thing with the key fob is for real. Jamie ( I think is his name) said absolutely it works. He also said the human antenna works well for radio and tv reception.:thumb:
