socal i love the idea!! but i liven in Fresno and work in davis ca. i'm a hodd carrier for a masonry company. we are building a new football stadium for the uc davis aggies. so the lynch mob must come to dixon ca. where the motel is. are you ready for this? i make sure i park right under the camera... but they forgot to push record last night...(more of my bad luck.....lol) so no video of the perp!!!
and... i have $500 deductable. factory window is backorder and only one dealer in ca has one... san bernadino.. so my dealer ordered it from san bernidino for $169.00 outside weather strip is $49.00 not sure on labor add sat radio $129.00 and $90.00 radar dectector comes to about. $440.00 plus labor... only slight damage to window frame, it can be bent back in where they used a hammer or somthing like that to pry on the window frame to bust the window instead of just plowing through it... i just need to keep it safe till next week when the glass comes in.. wish me luck all!

Sorry to hear of this

Some people just should not be out without their keeper!
Probably some drug head needing quick cash. Destroyed the wiring too and made it useless for all. Go figure
Keep the car dry 'till that window arrives. Insurance rarely pays for anything other than the initial injury. I had an insurance inspector tell me , after an unlucky meeting of my SHO with a tow truck at a five way intersection in Boston, that any damage I caused by trying to seal out the weather would not be covered. That would include paint being injured by tape, etc.

Here's another tip: when they do the window replacement be sure they pop the inner door panel off and vacuum out all the glass bits inside. Otherwise you will hear them rattling around on the bumps......forever!

Bug 'em - make 'em do it!
