Oct. 20th 2012 while at a birthday party a relative of mine backed into " THE SHADOW " putting a small dent where the bumper and left front fender meet getting it fixed at no cost to me..
but to get to the point ...I'm taking a vote on what to do with the old fender ? shall I ...... Attachment 24844 A. sell it for scrap ! B. polish it up and hang it on the wall as a pice of ART ! |
Definately hang it up as art. Because it is.

How do you know the "small dent" isn't repairable?
|
the guy at the shop said it would be easier and cheaper to just replace it.
even dirty ( sorry ) the rims still shine !! . ) |

Find a guy who collects scrap metal to make a living, check craigslist for people who will come and pick it up. It just is not profitable to take one piece of metal to the recycling yard. |

Now that I see it, I agree it needs to be replaced. Save the old one and use it to learn metal repair. If the bumper cover is also being replaced, use the old one to learn plastic repair. Your local community college probably has night auto body classes.

A new fender is about $71 plus prep and paint. I vote art.
