The "i" button on my 06 HHR LT when pressed says "no info", form the looks of some of the comments on here perhaps my radio is bad? The radio works but I am unable to program the remote for the alarm and yes the battery is good and the connections are good, it will honk the horn when you press the reset button on the remote but it will not program. Thanks

What are you trying to do? Are you talking about your radio or the remote key fob.

I assume that means there's no RDS info broadcasted for the station on at the time the "i" button is pressed. Try a popular FM station to see if anything shows.

I am trying to reprogram the original remote, the station shows up and the artist song title on some not all, but I can note access the menu for the car itself i.e. the programing of the remote and other options..oil change chimes etc.

You use the 'info' button on the steering wheel to access the car functions, and it displays in the gauge cluster. The 'i' button on the radio is only for the stereo.
However you cannot program the remote yourself, you have to take it to the dealer. But if the horn beeps when you press the remote button, it seems to be working fine now.
