Ingition Problem

My steering wont lock and the key will not come out unless i push the plunger in whats the problem??? any help with my sticky key would be nice!!!!

Yes there were some problems with this and the dealers have to resolve it..

Sorry to hear about the problem. On the bottom side of the steering column there is a small square pop off. Using a flat head screwdriver, pop it off and there is a release there so that you can turn the key and release it from the ignition. This is a quick how-to I got from a fellow HHR owner. Hope this helps with the problem you are having.

They'll probably replace the Shifter Assy. That seems to solve the problem. To The Forum.
