I had to go out and check mine. My 2009 panel doesn't have them.

I have them now...But they're black and my interior is light gray - that's why I was kind of curious if someone else had a picture or any info on what they should look like and if they came in colors to match the interior, or just black?

That would be too funny if anyone found a surplus of them in their vacuum

I have a 2010 and the passenger side doors have the inserts while the drivers side do not. I ordered a couple but evidently they are for the earlier model cars. I need the shorter ones that just sit in the bottom of the hole, but I haven't been able to find a part number anywhere. I've seen a few folks mention the later model inserts, does anyone have a part number? I'd be glad to send the two earlier model inserts to someone for free if they'll send a SASE or some way to ship them. PM me.

Can't blame the dealer, ordered it myself. Dealer price was something like $16. I'll trim my own piece of plastic before I'll pay that for one of those cheap things.

GM has been putting these rubber things into the bottom of interior cavities for some time. They just "lay" in the cavities. My GM Delta and GMT325 vehicles have them in cup holders, grab handles and some console junk bins. Not a bad idea, as you can remove and clean them in the sink. I guess the unknowing vacuum them out, then say it's a poor design, but it's easier than trying to clean the bottom surface of the cavity itself if these things weren't there.
