Does anyone know how to R&R the instrument panel storage lid on a 2008 HHR SS (if the year/model makes a difference)?

Thank you for the referral link. It appears as if the 2 screws in the front are all that's holding the unit in place. One last question, do these two screws go into anything like Speednuts where something will fall off the bottom or do they go into something more substantial? I'd hate to remove them only to find out there's something on the bottom that'll fall off.

 

I’ve had mine out a couple of times, nothing fell out the bottom, 7 mm head self tapping screws.
