Just rec an email from a Firm hired by GM

I just rec an email from a company hired by GM here is what they have said: ( if you rec this as well please excuse this):
Dear KAREN,

General Motors has retained our firm to conduct online consumer research with value consumers like yourself! We are only interested in your opinions and assure you that at no time will you be sold anything, nor will your name be given to any sales or mail order firms.

We have an exciting survey for automobile owners regarding the armrests in your vehicle. You have the opportunity to provide input on what you like and dislike regarding your current armrest. We need your help!!!

The survey link will be sent next week. Between now and then, we would like you to think about how you position your hands and arms when driving on short trips or errands around town, and when you drive on longer highway trips (2 hours or more). Also, please think about the following:

- We are only interested in the driver’s armrests in this survey, not any of the passengers, or the rear seat armrests.
- On the left side, many vehicles have the armrest attached to the door, while some have a separate flip-down armrest.
- On the right side, many vehicles have the center console as the armrest, while others have a separate flip-down armrest.
- Notice if any of your armrests are adjustable.
- Notice any differences in the comfort of your right and left armrests.
- Notice any differences in how you position your right hand and arm versus your left hand and arm.

Watch you inbox next week for this exciting survey!!

Please email me if you have questions or problems: emicheals@gongos.com

Thank you for your help!

hmmmm. interesting. I hate the center armrests. I always end up using the passenger side.

Checked out Gongos from Karen's email. They are a valid research company.

I've been involved with Gongos consumer study groups before. They're VERY legit... Heck, they paid me $100 to sit on some motorcycles and tell them what I didn't like.
