just wondering what oil types you all are using??
i have heard some people use full synthetics other are using 10-30`s standard type oils?? so what are you all runnin?? i have the 2.2 and my first oil change will be this weekend so just wanted some input!!??

Currently using standard 10-30. Next oil change, in 1000 mi, I plan on switching to Mobil 1.

Switched to 100% synth @ 3K miles... (Castrol Syntec). Nothing wrong with running fossil oil, of course... just prefer the beni's of synth over conventional.
BTW- using stock 'weight'

I have been using Royal Purple in 5w-30w it is a bit pricey but I think it worth it.

Mobil 1- 5W-30 synthetic since first oil change at @ 1,200 miles. A little more expensive than the others...but I want the best for my HHR and I consider Mobil 1 the best.

I've had but one oil change so far, but I used 10W-30 Pennzoil. I've used Pennzoil ever since I can remember. It's never done me wrong. So I stick with it.

The dealer changed gave mine an oil change while it was in the body shop. Not quite sure what they used although I can guarantee it was 5W30
