K&N Filter Install
 

:confused: Yesterday I was seeing some info about changing the air filter with some step by step instructions on how to get things apart. (I'm putting in a K&N soon.)
Today I can't find it anywhere:red: ! Last night I went out to check the fuses (Sure enough, they were loose!) While I was there I also looked at the air filter situation. The engine cover in particular. How does that thing come off anyway? I couldn't see how it is held on and I don't want to break something accidently. Can anyone tell me where that info is again:bow:?
Incidently, does that cover have any actual use other than to hide stuff?

Thanks for the help! Now I see that the cover and filter housing are screwed together. So I guess the cover does have a function!

You got it. That cover actually houses the air filter itself. It's actually pretty easy to remove. Just must develop patience young grasshoppa'.:bow:
