Oh Wow, I told him they were probly hard to find or super rare.... But sadly he called and said he found one... so, Ill be going to get it replaced once it gets delivered to the shop.

Those insanely expensive online replacements target insurance jobs, I suspect. Weird market. A lot of expensive activity in identifying, grading (little value unless VGC or near mint,) cataloging, storage, marketing. Thus, almost valueless arriving in the boneyard. I know of one that just automatically scraps them all, satisfied with the allow scrap value, I guess.

I found a pair of nice 5x110 18" G6 GXP wheels in a back seat there, management says, " Huh, musta missed 'em. That'll be $50." I took em.

 

I found 4 mis-matched aluminum wheels here on the property after I purchased. Tons of steel scrap metal and I was pulling $175 a truckload at the scrap yard... just the 4 wheels alone I got $200
