About the closest thing I can think of in my area is there are a few combo gas station car washes in my area which will discount your gas .10 to .15 cents if you get a car wash also. All of those places use the old fashon brush and strap wash rather than a touchless wash so I never use them there for I never get discounted gas.

Citgo runs a sale every Monday at 5 cents off....which today should be around $2.08 per gallon. I can't believe Wal Mart doesn't sell in West Palm Beach. When I am in the Port St. Lucie area, most of the Wal Marts sell gas under the Murphy name.

We have Piggly Wiggly's in NC, but they are mostly in small towns because they can't compete with the larger chains. We have Kroger, but none sell gas. We have several Wal-Marts in the area, but only the newest one has gas. You do save a few cents more using a Wal-Mart card, but even if you don't have one, the regular price still beats most of the other stations nearby.

And just a quick comment on oil. While we do get oil from the "sand people" as you called them, believe it or not most of the oil we import comes from Canada...

Also, America is no longer the land of the free. We are ruled by an appointed President whose administration controls the "free press". The NY Times knew about the illegal wire tapping a year before the story broke but didn't report it because the Bush administration asked them not to... It's a facist regime with a propaganda machine... I'm not just bashing Republicans - the whole system is corrupt and needs to be overhauled... (if I had written 'overthrown', I'd be put on the no-fly list...)

I havent seen a Piggly Wiggly in NC. I Have seen one in S. Carolina going toward Myrtle Beach. There used to be a bunch of them in KY, VA, & TN but they were bought out by Food City.

About the gas What about Sam's Club or Costco? That is about the cheapest place I can find it.

Well guido, you may be right... we had a Piggly Wiggly in Hamlet, NC but that was over 10 years ago. I haven't been back there in a long time, so it could be gone. Seems like there was one in the Henderson/Louisburg area, but it could very well be gone by now as well. They used to be around anyway!

Yeah, I think Piggly Wigglys were around Cinci & Ky area. No WallyMarts by me sell gas either. Gas prices are $2.15 avg here.

We have Giant Eagle grocery stores w/discounts on gas, per how much you spend. For every $50 in groceries, they give ya .10 to .20 cents off per gal (depending on store location) You can also accumulate that total within a 3 month period.

So far I'm up to $1.20 off per gal... however I have 3 people buying groceries on/using my Giant Eagle Advantage card. Adds up quick that way!
