Lighted Bowtie ?

HI all,

I'm looking for an illuminated bowtie for the grill (and maybay the tailgate too) for my 2011 2LT. Lots of searching, not too much luck. Anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks !

I would start with eBay. "illuminated chevy bowtie" gave this result:

Hi - actually I have, and found some good deals too. The only problem is, I don't know how they attach to the grill (and I'm getting an aftermarket grill as well). By that I mean, if I find one for, say, a Camaro, could I assume that it would fit my HHR as well (because they're fairly universal), or are they more model specific (only made to attach to specific grills) ?

One way or another there will be "undocumented customization".

I am guessing a Camaro bowtie mounts the same, double sided tape. Camaro seems to be bent more.

This thread may shed some "light" on the subject.

Thanks. After poking around, it looks like the closet thing I'm going to find is this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/252870888105...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It sticks on behind my existing emblem. Still have to measure, but it looks to be the right size Not exactly what I was looking for, but it seems to be a good cheap alternative.

You will need to find one that is for the HHR if you are going to mount it to the stock grill. Size might be close, but still won't fit correctly otherwise.

I found a few that are even less $$$ so I may just take the chance. I never thought finding this would be such a project ! As far as I can tell, a lightem emblem specifically for an HHR just doesn't exist.
