little floodlight

little floodlight

does anybody know how you turn off the tiny little floodlight
in the roof over the console
i see no switch and i tried to push lens over to see of that is what
does the job but no go
it stays on all the time

You can't turn it off, but you can cover it so you don't see it.

See, I covered mine with an inkjet-printed sticker...

What about disconecting it? It doesnt bother me so I wouldn't disconnect it but it's real easy to get at through the sunroof.

I'd love to have a set of those visor covers if they are ever sold. I do have the cashmere interior though.

That little light does light up the dash switches, It's hard to see the window switched without the light.
On another note "HHR Nut", I would like a set of visor decals also, see what you started.
Has anyone tryed to open the sunroof manually? I know there is a plug by the light, but haven't opened it yet to see that tool I will need to manually crank it.
