There is nothing under there and it's molded in, it's not a plug. I dropped the of my headliner to see about installing a switch there and decided I didn't need the switch I was going to put there. There is no way to manually open the sunroof to my knowledge.

<ahem> It never even occurred to me to try to get at it through the sun roof ... I'll take a look at it in the morning.

Thanks!

I have something else in the works without an unlicensed Chevrolet logo, but at the moment it's on the backburner... trying to wrap up loose ends and clients before I go out of town.

courthousedeb, deadhead, coolsurf

Thanks! Doing them one off for my own car is one thing, but distributing these with an unlicensed Chevrolet logo is probably not such a good idea legally.

Working on an alternative, but like I said (above), I'm in a time crunch now, so it'll be a while. I'll post when I have more info and/or pictures.

Thanks again everyone. :)

Who needs that little light? I backlit my window buttons:

(the buttons are partially obscured by the gear shift in the first picture)

So.... here's a closeup:

Turquoise EL Wire was carefully hot glued to the back of the window control bezel. The wire follows the outline of each button.

I was going to put in a switch because I thought the light might be overpowering, but it's perfect so I left the swich out. If I change my mind, I'll add in the switch later.

I like that, Where do you get the wire? And do they come in different colors?
