Long term report

I haven't posted in forever. Bought the 2006 LT2 brand new in January 2007.

Now have 77,000 miles on it and finally paid that sucker off this week! It gets regularly 27-29 MPG (2.4L automatic) The amazing thing is that, other than regular 3,000 mile oil changes, one air filter and a new set of tires, it has never had to have one single thing done to it!

Amazing car. Why can't my expensive cars have such reliability?

Almost forgot...it is having an issue with the driver side windshield squirter getting haywire sometimes, but that is a $13 part at the dealer to fix it. I figure there is a free one that will show up in a salvage yard some day. Anyone have an extra?

Good to hear, and Congrats on the payoff.

I am paying mine off even earlier than I even planned on myself.

X 4! Nothing wrong with good news, like I've said before, the majority of our HHR's run like Swiss watches....so you don't hear much about them.

We bought ours new in 06 and the only real problems we've had were the shifter malfunctioning in such a way that you couldn't turn the key to the lock position and remove it and a water leak on the passenger side. Both problems happened in 06. Both were repaired under warranty and roughly 55k miles later, she's still running fine. Just put new tires on it a couple of months ago.
