I would be a little cautious because he doesn't actualy show how bad the damage is. Plus its a LS so he wants half the price of a new one. It will probably end up costing you more in the long run. I would be most worried about the frame.

You'll get hosed just on the airbags alone.

Get in line for those fancy wheel covers ;)

I would be concerned with the availability of parts as the HHR is a new vehicle. You may find that replacement parts are hard to come by.

I would of hated to be the person that bought the car to have that accident happend to them.

That guy sounds like a joke! Keeping a PT over the HHR, LOL! On the serious note, it sounds pretty bad in his words. I looked at the PT also, and I think this guy is just looking to make $$$$ off people. He is so NOT professional that is for sure. I would not buy that car, he even said that he could not find parts, but he is sure that they are out there, boy he knows nothing about the waiting game that people are already playing for the cars they ordered or already have....Those people could wait forever to get the door.

Yeah my Dad liked the PT Crusier. I belive if he was still with us that he would of loved my HHR more then the PT. My mom thinks he might of seen a preview picture of it before he passed. I guess I will never know.

I wonder why the vehicle was put up on auction to begin with unless an insurance company declared it a total. If that is the case, the repair cost would be quite high. I don't believe the original owner just decided to auction his car off due to an acident. Better to have had his insurance pay to repair it and then trade it in.

If you click on the link it tells you the whole story.

So it was a "total". I suspect that it is only useful as a parts vehicle if the insurance company gave up on it.
