Lower control Arm dissapointment
What "big three" mods? Is that a facebook thing?
The sun visors are not available anymore, A large binder clip worked for mine.
If you just want to lock/unlock the doors no mods are needed for fobs, just matching. Remote Start is a bit more complicated, depending on year and RPO.
The right spark plugs are good for 100,000 miles. ACDelco Iridium.
Back up camera is easy if you get the wireless adapter. They are cheap.

I read on this forum the Big 3 has something to do with running wires from the battery to the front of the car. I believe 12v, ground, and ignition. I think didn't read too much into it but no that I have decided to keep the HHR and make it my own I plan to customize it my liking and add mods to it on top of repairs. Also I saw they sell visors on Ebay I know they are used but they look pretty good would this be a good thing or should I look elsewhere. I heard that since the sun visors are no longer being made buying HHR sun visors online often don't have that OEM fit. For whatever reason I'm not sure why the driver side sun visor is gone. The driver side droops. So it is something I plan to fix. The car is at 144,000 miles so I believe spark plugs are in order since my MPG are low they were 16mpg on the city/ highway after VVT solenoid change it went up to 20.5 now I'm hoping the spark plugs will take me to 25 on the highway. If it doesn't I look into the fuel injectors/ ignition coils.
Don't mess with the main wires and don't do that stupid ground wire to the TCM thing!
I think I recall someone talking about a "big three" that they got from facebook. Facebook is the worst place to get car repair advice.

Can confirm about Facebook. I lurk on a number of HHR pages and others. There are exceptions, but in most groups, 95% of the advice is terrible, and calling out bs is considered rude. I only do it for the rare tidbit of useful information.
Update: The ZZ performance Lower control arms came in (rubber bushing. cheaper) as well as the radio harness from crutchfield(data harness, for non amp HHR 2010 harness. I don't have an amp).
The aluminum lower control arms worked like a charm. The stamped steel ones when ever I turned my steering wheel all the way to either side it would feel lose, and sometimes do a clunking noise, like if it got stuck then unstuck, as well as a rattle at high speeds sounded like hitting metal clink sound. The ZZperformance lower control arms on the other hand feel like they are supposed to. Car drives much better, to the point it drives straight when no hand on the steering wheel (I was being safe to do it when no cars were around), before on the stamped steel ones it would not drive straight even though it had an aliment done. The clunking feel, and the steering wheel feeling loose when rotated all the way each side went away too.
Thank you very much guys. Also I read what you guys said about the big 3 and Facebook and I will take that into consideration and not do that.
Changes I've made:
Plans:
I plan to change the struts on the front both of them since I am hearing a hiss sound when going over bumps and my car is 145k miles so they are due anyhow, been thinking of the Monroe strut assembly being sold at Oriley's.
For the Car radio Issue, it finally got audio from the new radio however the speakers are still coming in and out randomly so I plan to buy a speaker and test each side then if needed replace all 4. On the bright side I got my chimes back (turn signals, keys still attached, emergency lights and more).

You’ll find the Monroe struts aren’t specifically designed for each side like KYB struts, and installing a pair of rear KYB shocks will make the ride much better!

Their quick struts aren’t specifically designed left and right

but the strut part is still left or right with the dual tab for the swaybar end link.

That just confuses me more! The RA page clearly has L & R quick struts listed.
Yes they have connection points for sway bar links on 2 sides. but for other applications. I never looked closely but always thought the springs are wound opposite.
I guess if you unwelded the shock from the strut you could interchange them
