"mirror button"

I have the auto dimming RVM in my HHR. I would like to switch it off. The manual says to push the mirror button and the green light will turn off signaling that the AD function is defeated. I can't find the mirror switch! I have a compass switch, a green light, and a hole to the left of the green light. HELP!!!!!

Opps!!!! I see a trip to the dealership in your future. Should be a button there to turn off the ADRVM. But why would you want to do this??

I am assuming that the button goes where the hole is............ I don't always like the dark dim view that this option produces, so I would like to be able to turn it off.

you can always trade that mirror for a stock 1LT mirror. I have one to trade if you're interested...lol.

But then you lose the compass also.

Thanks for the help but I figured it out! If you hold the compass butt on for about 5 seconds the dimmed mirror feature toggles. If you keep holding it the compass goes into a program mode.
