My HHR's First Birthday!

Hi Everyone! A year ago today I drove HHRvey off the red carpet at my dealership and brought him home! I have enjoyed the ride every day since then The only problem HHRvey has given me was a squeaky steering wheel. I posted on the Forums last year what the dealer did to repair it, and HHRvey has been driving smoothly since then.

Although there are more HHR's on the road in my neck of the woods now(Southern Indiana) than when I first bought it, HHRvey still gets looks, positive comments, and lots of smiles!

The only "mods" I have put on HHRvey was a wind deflector in front of the sunroof, a CHEVROLET decal on the grill, and a rear bumper guard purchased from the good guys at SoCal HHRs.

HHRvey is a Metallic Silver 1LT with black pinstripes around the entire body. I guess he came that way because I don't recall paying for that as an option. Anyway, he is sporty, yet classy-looking enough for this 50 year old woman to look forward to getting in the car every day !!!!

For anyone who is considering purchasing an HHR, let me tell you from experience, you cant go wrong with this car! It gets great gas mileage, handles well, has excellent standard equipment features, is reliable, and is just plain fun to own and drive!

What is it's name?

 

I named it HHRvey after the last name of a dear friend. I also am a Jimmy Stewart fan and loved his movie "Harvey" about his imaginary rabbit friend.
