Need advice on engine replacement from older to newer hhr

Need to know if i can use a 2008 8th letter d standered shift hhr 2.2liter work in 20118th letter w automatic transmission without changing computer will it just go in and plug up and run

No.
2008 L61 engine is non VVT.
2011 LE8 engine is VVT and Flex fuel capable.
