Need to know if this is a good deal!!! ASAP

I have a 2008 LS with 20,100 miles on it. Has onstar, 2.2l, pretty base model. I have the opportunity to trade it in on a 2006 LT, burnt orange with leather, moonroof, heated seats, 17"wheels, chrome package, boards, etc. The deal is my car plus 1250. The orange one also has the 2.4L and a subwoofer in the hatch. Is this a good deal? I question going down 2 years, but I do put on a lot of miles and see it as a gain in value. Opinions please!!!

Sounds good to me I put a lot of miles on mine also I have over 94.000 on mine and it's a 2006 LT2 with 2.4 and it runs great but then again I just replaced the following Tires, Brakes front & back, Drums & Rotors and I would not give mine up for any thing.

Good luck and remember you are going to drive it and what ever choice you make will be the correct one. Maybe we can meet one weekend when I go up to the Dells.

Going down 2 years to a vehicle better equipped but your paying money?? Doesn't sound like a good deal to me. How many miles on the 06? Is this at a dealer?? So your trading in your car for the other one??

There's really not much of a difference between an '06 and an '08, I would think that it's be a fair trade. And the '06 doesn't have many miles on it, right? As long as it doesn't it seems like a good deal.

Sorry, forgot to mention the mileage. It has 19,600 miles on it. 400 miles less than my 08.

Why don't you go to "Kelly Blue Book" or "Edmond's"and see what both are worth. I think you would be giving up more than just the $1250. I feel there is no way the o6 will be worth as much as the 08. I'm just guessing and I could be wrong but I would not trade without this info let alone pay him some money to boot.

Keep in mind too, that you still have 79K + approx 4 years of warranty left on your 08, where as the 06 will have less warranty.
