Why don't you just tell me the one that's coming from the firewall goes to J2 or the one that goes to the engine goes to day one or whatever why can't you just tell me that

Now that you let a little info out we might be able to help.
The at least once a month solution to "engine won't start after engine swap" is the fuse box didn't get put together as tightly as it needs to be. the bo0lt need to be tighter than "I'm afraid they will strip" you need to hear a couple of clicks.

Are you saying that you're shorting the battery to ground through your multimeter?

No I'm not shorting my multimedia to ground through my battery or the other way even I don't have a battery hooked up at all I just put my lead on the positive and then touch the ground so there's nothing hooked up at all no battery, no power supply actually there hasn't been anything hooked up to this car for 5 days now at least so I'm sure everything's pretty drained. But so far from my initial install of the wire harnesses underneath the fuse panel I went back out and I got at least five more complete rotations on the bolt, with my socket wrench on each wire harness boat and I still haven't made them pop yet I'm going to charge my battery and tomorrow I will see if it works in the morning if not I'll crank the fuse panel harnesses down some more until they pop

Not talking about harnesses; The bolts inside the underhood fuse box that holds the 2 halves together. The fuse holders on the top half need to be completely clicked into the clips on the bottom half.

These bolts:

becuase, I don’t have a 2.2 in my shop to verify which is which , but I’m sure it’s very easy to figure it out. They only fit into one connection port.

I think he's talking about these, what's underneath, once you remove the part you've pictured. I referred to them before as wire bundles, probably not the right term. You're calling them fuse holders, sounds good to me.

You can see that each bolt goes into a fuse holder. But only the lower 3 go through and into the bottom half of the fuse block. The top one only attaches the fuse holder to the top half.

Well, if you bother to look at the connectors to the ECM and the ECM you will notice that the pin patterns are different, idiot proof. That is why I posted a picture of the 2 connectors. I assume that you are not an idiot.

The "fuse holders" are on the top part, they need to click into the "harnesses" on the bottom. They are very hard to get seated.

I have two connections on my ecm/pcm one is the sensor or engine side harness and the other side goes into the cab to the bcm anyway, of you have a have a 2008 2.2l can I get a picture of your under the fuse box, under the hood, wire harness wires and their location under the fuse box please, also, all the gm ecm/pcm, they all have the same wire pin in locations, don't they? Like all the low ref, or the 5v ref, and or the locations that any of the sensors go in, on the 73 pin connector or anything that goes into the "brain" of the car, they're all the same location right? Then why are mine in different spots? Imma go through and back probe all my wires to see if they're in the right location🤷 I hate this car lol
