New 2010 HHR Upgrdes
New 2010 HHR Upgrdes
So I just bought a new 2010 HHR and I am looking to do some upgrades both cosmetic and performance.
Other than possibly lights, wheels, grill, carbon stub antenna and blackouts I want to keep the car pretty much stock but would like recommendations on what you guys think will be the best bang for the buck.
As for performance, I really don't yet know much about my HHR but would like to get it to perform a bit better, not really looking for horsepower but possibly exhaust and air filter to increase MPG.
Again, any recommendations that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, Mike. You may get a lot of opinions about Performance/mileage upgrades but to be honest GM did a good job on the intake and exhaust so there wouldn't be huge numbers to be had by swapping those out. I installed the GMPP cold air intake and did note a 1-2 MPG increase (not mind blowing) but many of the other CAI actually pick up hot air so the only increase is noise with the possibility of less MPG. The same may be true with exhaust.... Louder but very little if any other increase. It has been noted that the Trifecta tune may net a few MPG better than the stock GM tune and may be the best "bang for the buck" out there.

Welcome and Greetings! Be sure to check out the "Search" function since there are so many ways to modify an HHR, and I think you'll find everything you're looking for.
