No fire
Bought it as a project they said it just quit running so I replaced the crank sensor because I had a car do the same thing pulled the valve cover to replace gasket noticed the timing chain was slack replaced that put new gaskets and plugs in I have done all the work before that I don’t know turns over fine getting fuel just don’t sound like it is firing checked all fuses and relays still nothing any ideas about what to do would be appreciated
Broken down for easier reading...
Bought it as a project, they said it just quit running, so I replaced the crank sensor because I had a car do the same thing.
Pulled the valve cover to replace gasket. Noticed the timing chain was slack replaced that.
Put new gaskets and plugs in.
I have done all the work before that.
I don’t know, turns over fine, getting fuel, just don’t sound like it is firing.
Checked all fuses and relays still nothing.
any ideas about what to do would be appreciated.

I would probably skip the compression test, and go straight to the cylinder leak down test.
If the engine is not correctly timed, a compression test could potentially bend valves(if they're not already bent).
Or you could pull the crank pulley and timing cover, and retime it. Then you could do the compression test. And possibly still need to do the leak down test. The crank pulley bolt is TTY(one-time use).

Did you do a compression test?
Did you check the fuse and relay I previously noted?
"Just stopped running" usually means the timing chain broke. That could mean valve and piston damage.
Have you checked all wires for chafing/burning other damage?
Have you checked all connectors for broken/bent/dislocated pins?
Have you checked all ground points for good connection?
How did you check all of the fuses? Both fuse boxes?
Did the car have a disabler installed; like some "buy here/pay here" used lots do?
Any after market electronics?
Are you using a key that has been matched to the car?
Are there any hidden OBD codes?
