Okay, who farted?

Now that I got some attention:lol: Anybody know why at certain times, I turn on the A/C and my wife and I look at each other like, Wasn't me!

check your cabin air filter

You probably have mold growing in the ductwork!!

Premiere07 11-06-2008 07:56 PM

Turn your a/c on recirculate, aim a can on Lysol into the intake vent for the a/c close to the floor, spray a good bit, turn the car off let it sit for a while, turn your a/c back on and let it circulate again, spray a lil more, then turn it off and leave it off.

Should be fine after this, common issue, you just have some mildew growing and surviving off the condensation in the duct-work. Next time run your vent for the last 5 minutes of your trip or so to help lower the amount of condensation in the ducts.

Okay, I usually use the recirculate. I'll try it, thanks

I don't think this is a proper heading for our forums. It just lowers the bar.

Ok, who expelled flatulence?

Not just any air freshener, Lysol will actually KILL the Mildew and Bacteria as well as stay on the surface and prevent any further build-up for a good while at least 2-3 months depending on frequency of a/c usage.
