Thumbs down Nope

I got a nice zippered cloth book-case for my manuals, warranties and quick-start guide......but, I got it from my '01 F150. All the dealer tried to give me was the shaft when I went in a few days after my purchase for the mudflaps installation. (They tried to get me to re-sign new paperwork with a higher interest rate and payment). NOT!

I met with the salesman this last Sunday and he showed me in there file cabinet all the paper work owners manuels etc. that comes with the vehicals from the factory no HHR's no Cobalt's, no Aveo's no Malibu's. only Impalas and Monte Carlos as well as trucks. My past experiences buying new Chevrolets has been it came with some sort of booklet to house your owners manuel etc. I wonder what warrents some dealers giving these booklets to some customers while others are like me just a zip lock clear plastic bag?

The deal on the manuals: '06 appears to be the last year GM offered the nice black vinyl book covers on ALL of their vehicles. In the last two years my household has bought three new GM cars: Stitch I (the '06 HHR) had the vinyl cover. My wife's G6 (2007) had the baggie. Stitch II (the '07 HHR) had only the baggie, so I hijacked the vinyl cover from Stitch I for it. It appears to be an '06-'07 change.
