Here is a good place to look at the invisable shield that someone brought up in the OOOTTTHher chip problem area. I think a kit was around 240.00.

Keep thinking to myself.... "this post is hood chips"..."this post is hood chips"..."this post is hood chips"..."this post is hood chips"...

Paint chip on roof

Funny enough, I was washing and waxing the car yesterday when I noticed a weird paint chip, approx. the size of an almond, on the roof of the car. It looks like the clearcoat part of the paint was chipped away. At first, I thought it was sap or dirt on the car until I realized that it was a chip in the clearcoat. Anyone else experience anything else like that? This is definitely not like the rock chips on the front but rather an elongated oval-like chip away at the surface of the paint. Any ideas?

I was cleaning my dream machine today and noticed a few chips on the hood and the "A" posts. They show as small white spots. Guess they just don't paint'em like they used to.
