Has anyone installed the PAL themselves? How difficult was it?

 

Mine was installed by the dealer before I bought the car (I have an 07) and have had no problems with it. Others on here who tried installing after the fact have had issues and I am sure will be more than happy to tell you how much they loathe it.

Yes. I installed mine. Not hard, but does take some time. You have to remove the dash waterfall and the pieces below it to get to the factory stereo. You remove it, disconnect a cable, plug in a new cable, plug the old cable in and reassembly. Mount the PAL behind the waterfall. It's not tough and there is a how-to for it. Don't rush it. Take your time.
