Another dumb question...
Was wondering if one could use the HHR steering column in a 'hot rod', or convert it to fit another vehicle?
Or, does the computer prohibit doing something like this?
I still ain't sure I understand how electric PS even works...

Not a dumb question at all, give this linked article a read, it wouldn't be impossible to adapt EPS to a street rod...but it would "take some doing".
