I recently put a set of ceramic pads on my Mrs Mopar. They have been properly bedded & she loves them, quiet & more importantly, stop well.

Happy with them, & did brake fluid flush at same time.

I remember reading in a GM bulletin somewhere that dealers are advised when confronted with complaints about pulsation, as a first step, to make three hard stops from (40MPH, if I remember correctly?) allowing the for some cooling time between stops. This actually makes sense, because the heat could free the calipers plus if the car's been parked for awhile, the rust on the rotors ain't uniformly distributed. Anyway, it works for me; I always babied my brakes and was always confounded by pulsations. Now I have an excuse for driving deep into corners and fun hard stops.

The same source said if the above didn't work, check rotor TIR and I was surprised how low the limit was; .001 or .002" maybe? I don't remember exactly. They also emphasized that rotor replacement was NOT recommended unless thickness was below service limit and that all the rotors need not be equal in thickness.

I replaced my front brakes at 30K? Best pads and rotors from Advance Auto. Car now has 55K and have rotor pulsation. I mostly do around town driving which is stop and go. I'm sure this helps in making the rotors non-concentric/parallel surface. As a test I'm going to try vented rotors when the weather gets warmer so I can change them out. My thought is it will give the rotor quicker time to cool down between brake applications.

Don't forget to check & adjust as needed the rear drum brakes (non-SS models only)..

Mine has 33K & stops smooth as silk, all original brakes.

Assuming it’s Cat Man’s SS then Power Stop has a kit of four rotors and pads with hardware.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...+pad+kit,13824

For the standard SS , not The Brembo package
