Rain leak Passenger side under glove box

I have a rain/water leaking pretty significantly from below the dash/glovebox area. I searched the forum for rain/water leaks and haven't found anything about this particular area. Just wondering if anyone had rain leaking in on the passenger side floor from underneath the glove box area and what they did to discover and fix it. I'm hoping someone can help me minimize my time trying to find the source of the leak. Thank you.

I don't even have to look at your profile to know you have a 2006 or early 2007. Soon your fan resistor and/or motor will malfunction (only runs on high or not at all).

Thankfully it’s an easy fix.

If the original lasted 13 years, you got lucky.

I always thought this was a great picture. Shows the where, what and why the water leaks into the HVAC box.

The other 2 things are : if you have a sunroof the drain is not working right or if you have been running the defrost the AC drain may be clogged.
