Rain guards/vent shades...do they stop wind buffeting?

Have an 09 panel...when I drive with the window down I get wind off the b pillar straight into my ear. Doesn't matter if I crack the passenger window or not. If I move the seat up a couple of inches ..nothing. I'm 6 1 so that is not an option. Do these guards work for wind? Don't want to waste my money just to find out it doesn't work. Thoughts...experiences? thanks

If you are referring to the pressure change noise (kind of a wobble noise that bothers your ears), then no...in my experience, the car made the same noise

If you are referring to a different noise, I'm not sure as it didn't bother me

I'm a touch shorter than the OP, and there are certain speeds where I get buffeting, its like opening a sunroof without cracking a window. It seems to be the worst right at 40mph.

Several members here run Vent Visors on their panels, so they're better able to address any effects on buffeting. Personally I don't like the look of the visors, always seem kinda cheap looking.

I have them on my panel, they work great. They also stopped that buffeting on my wagon, I have the stick on ones. They are cheap...but I like the chopped look the body color has.

I'm planning a trip to arizona and new mexico in june and want to have my window fully open as I travel. Just wondering if they would help as my ear is right by the b pillar and the wind deflecting off it is huge.

Nope, not likely w/fully open window. That's when I miss old vent windows.
