Remote Control
 

I was wondering if anyone knows of a better remote controller. I have an aftermarket remote on my Saturn Vue and that shows when the doors are locked and unlocked. The best part is when I have started the vehicle it shows me the engine is running or when it doesn't start. Any ideas or maybe an aftermarket option?

Is that just an aftermarket fob or the complete remote system that was installed after being bought?

The remote came with my HHR. I was wondering if there is another controller that would work with the system. I just cited the example of my other car.

I think what BO2E4 was asking was what was on the Vue ... aftermarket fob or full aftermarket remote system?

I was wondering about the Vue's remote.

I don't know much about remote systems, but I am unsure if the new remote would work or not with the HHR's security system. There are more knowledgeable people on here when it comes to electronic things regarding vehicles, so hopefully one or five of them will chime in and give you some information.

I have a hornet system on the Vue. I am sorry that I did not understand your question. I had the system installed about 2 years ago for my wife and she loves it. I just want something that will let me know that the car is on or unlocked or locked.

gonna have to go aftermarket to get that.
