Replacement tires

Over the weekend I pulled off my winter set of studded tires. Looks like this will be the summer to replace the original 215/55/16 tires on my 2009 Panel. Can I go to 225/55/16s? My winter tires are 225/60/16 and I don't want to run that size in the summer. Some time this summer they will hit the wear bars so it is time to start research into a new set a shoes. Thx, Bear

Yes... 225/55R16 work great, but the wheels might be listed as somewhat narrow for that tire size, depending on what wheels you have.

Since this is the third time this question has been asked in the last few weeks, I got to ask : Is something wrong with the search tool?

If there is, let me know please.

Why don't you want to run 225 60 X 16 in the summer? I am kind of surprised they don't rub on the front struts, I know that 215 60 X 16 get very close.

Tire size calculators are available by typing "tire size calculator" into any GoOgle search box. Here is one: https://tiresize.com/calculator/ Others have different features.
