Reprogram key fob?

Well there is confusion in this thread due to the procedure outlined in post #2. That procedure is for GM vehicles with the PASSKey I sytem. The HHR has PASSKey II.

I'll pass, can't state this enough, dealer needs to program the FOB's not Autozone, or other parts houses, the dealer!! and I have not spoken to a locksmith yet who knows anything about the programmer for these issue

Oh I know that procedure wont work on an HHR and that they can only be programmed with a Tech II. I was just stating that it was in the thread and likely the source of the poster's confusion.
