Not here, but will keep an eye out. Could be years for me since we get little to no rain in Az.

Cool yes

Yes, this also happened to me last winter with the chrome stubby from SoCal. I have since switched to the '07 equinox antenna, which I REALLY like the look of. To get rid of the rusty look on my stubby I rubbed it hard (god this is soundin' dirty) with Turtle Wax Ice and got the shine back.

Several people, here and on other forums, have had this same complaint.

Question is did your stubby enjoy being cleaned like that?

It must be on the chrome ones only. To my knowledge I bought the first black one off of him. It is made of anodized aluminum so it can't rust. Mine still looks as new as the day I bought it.

I've got both and same thing happened to the chrome one. All you need to do is clean it up with some good wax/cleaner (it comes right off) and then clear coat it if you like...or just keep it waxed up good.

Well kind of. I got the Black Stubby and after going thru car washes and driving thru bugs and things the front side of it looks like chrome or satin, guess the paint got knocked off of it. Oh well wanted a chrome one anyway, now I have a reason to order it
