the search is on......

earlier this year, my youngest boy (16) got into a wreck with our 95 Geo Prism.
it's toast.

he's been on me about getting him another car, and with my 06 about to have it's last payment being made, I've silently considered finding myself a silver, manual trans. panel and 'selling' him the '06.

SO, this will probably take quite some time, seeing as how specific I am in my next ride, which is ok as I'm in no hurry to let him behind the wheel any time soon!

At least you are not insisting on a panel SS, with only 221 made, and like 84 manual!

True.
I haven't researched the numbers, but just from what I've seen (or not seen) on the road, I think a silver manual trans. panel could be as elusive!

Have you let your son in on the plan ? If not, maybe you should and let him help you search.

One of the conclusions I have made in my 78, years is that having children is the best way to get Grand Kids. Most of the time they do move out.
